Tara Freeburn

Solicitor Director

Raised in regional New South Wales, Tara pursued her legal education at the University of Canberra.  Today, she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to advocating for her clients in the realm of Family Law.

“Dealing with people’s everyday lives and personal situations crosses over everything – from estates to tax, companies and property. There’s no precedent, there’s not a one-size fits all model. Every matter is very different because people are very different.”

Tara’s work in Family Law includes dividing assets, which can involve rural properties. “There are good times and bad on the farm, it’s not just an asset you can easily sell. It’s a property where families live, where they make their money, where they grew up. Dealing with farms, it’s about working through the options, so every party obtains their proper entitlement.”

Tara’s approach is to help her clients resolve matters by consent and – if possible – amicably. However, if court proceedings are required, she advocates firmly on behalf of her client throughout the process. Tara’s compassion and understanding, along with her practical approach to the law, ensures her clients are in excellent hands.

Tara and her team work tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for all her clients during a very stressful time in their lives.

“Your family law team are on the ball and always displayed the utmost amount of professionalism.  I wish you were representing me rather than my ex-partner.

“I can’t thank you both enough. You have both been brilliant. I was in a situation where I didn’t know what to do . My meeting with you Tara was amazing. You were so focused, firm and organised. I walked out of your office with confidence knowing I was in good hands. Thank you for your brilliant work.  I would recommend your services to anyone.  Very happy.”
